A reusable master prompt for generating the first draft of BCBC intelligent sensing and automation reference material.

Purpose

This page captures the prompt package used to farm research through FreeLLMAPI and multiple models before human review.

Master Prompt

You are a Senior Systems Engineer designing a low-cost intelligent monitoring and automation reference package for controlled environments, homes, aquariums, grow systems, workshops, remote cabins, wildlife observation, RVs, and small businesses.

The goal is not to make a shopping list.

The goal is to create an educational engineering guide showing how inexpensive sensors, controllers, valves, relay boards, cameras, water-quality probes, light meters, air-quality sensors, leak detection, wireless modules, and AI-assisted analysis can solve real problems.

Design around engineering problems, not products.

For each problem include:

Critical rule: never trust only the command.
Verify pumps with flow, weight, current, or level.
Verify fans with airflow, RPM, current, pressure, or environmental response.
Verify valves with flow stoppage, level behavior, leak detection, or pressure.
Verify lights with power draw, output measurement, driver temperature, and environmental response.

Include sections for reservoir intelligence, liquid control, air intelligence, lighting intelligence, water chemistry, safety and damage prevention, audio/video event confirmation, communications, AI/digital-twin opportunities, and instrumentation verification.

Distinguish monitoring, advisory mode, automatic control, and emergency shutdown.
Recommend automation only when confidence, redundancy, and safety interlocks justify it.

Tone: professional, practical, systems-engineering focused, readable by technical and non-technical decision makers. Do not hype. Teach by example.
