Research status · October 2026. This is a design shortlist derived from preliminary research supplied by BCBC. Prices, pinouts, vendor availability, certifications, product capabilities, and fixture compatibility have not been independently verified. No listed component is represented as installed, purchased, or safety-qualified for production. Select the exact model and confirm its current datasheet before ordering or wiring.
Airflow is not human-presence radar
Respiration and occupancy radar cannot directly quantify room airflow. Candidate airflow measurements include suitably specified anemometers, differential-pressure sensors, and complementary thermal imaging—not an interchangeable radar module.
Lighting interfaces require model checks
0–10 V dimming and Modbus-to-analog modules are promising candidates. Whether a particular Black Dog LED or other fixture supports dim-to-off, daisy-chain limits, and safe shutdown must be checked against that fixture's documented revision. Zero dimming voltage is not necessarily electrical isolation.
